It's a BOY!

So, yesterday Jeremy and I had our "big" ultrasound. We had been counting down for weeks for this day. Our appointment was at 1:00. Jeremy took the day off but I worked a 1/2 day. I wish we would have made our appointment for first thing in the morning because the wait was brutal. I kept glancing at the clock on my computer every ten minutes. Anyway, we got to the doctor and we were the only people there so that was nice. The ultrasound tech was fabulous. She was able to tell us the sex within the first two minutes. Jeremy was so excited. He threw his hands up in the air, pumped his fists and shouted, "I did my job!" I was just a little embarassed. :) We have to go back for another ultrasound in two weeks because our little guy was moving around too much for the technician to take some of the necessary measurements. The technician said he is measuring in the 65th percentile, so I was happy about that. No 10 pound baby for me, thanks! We got a few pictures, including a very clear shot of his "equipment". I will be sure to post those up ASAP. We were also given a dvd of the ultrasound so we are very excited to have that keepsake. After the ultrasound we headed to Bellevue to begin shopping! Jeremy and I cheated and did some shopping before we knew the sex. So the baby already had three outfits and three pairs of shoes. Managing a shoe store, Jeremy could not help himself. Needless to say, I'm glad we don't have to return any of the items we bought since they were all for a baby boy. :) Jeremy went a little crazy in the baby department at Macy's. We finally go to the point where we had to put our hands up and shield our eyes on the walk up to the register, so we wouldn't be distracted. I will definitely be sure to take some pictures of the beginning of our baby's large wardrobe. With Jeremy working so close to Children's Place, Macy's and Baby Gap- we are in trouble!

Wii Fit

Sunday night Jeremy and I went over to Sarah and James' house to play Wii and eat pumpkin pie. They have the new Wii fit and Jeremy and I had never tried it before. I had heard it was really neat. We loved it! In one hour of playing Jeremy lost 1.8 pounds. It was a workout! There was one hula hoop game that Jeremy especially liked and was really good at. We all gave it a shot to see how many times we could hoop in 1 minute 30 seconds. Jeremy won with 300. I didn't even break 100- but, we don't really need to get into that. Thanks to Sarah, there is a great little video on her blog of us hula hooping. Please keep in mind when watching that I am pregnant...
