Easter Weekend

Whew! What an eventful weekend it was! Jeremy's mom flew in late Wednesday night from California. Jeremy and I decided to drive down to the airport with Marchelle and surprise his mom since she had yet to see Landon. She just ate him up! He definitely was a spoiled baby this weekend. Friday Jeremy's sister Cristin flew in from Colorado with her two kids Damon and Ella. Damon just fell in love with baby Landon. He hardly let him out of his sight all weekend. Pretty much my job all weekend was the "feeding" machine. When Landon was hungry he was passed off to me and the minute he was done, grandma, aunties, or the cousins had him. He definitely was the center of attention all weekend. I will have to say the highlight of the weekend was Landon actually rolled over! Unfortunately we didn't get it on video, but Cristin was able to catch just a couple of shots in the middle of his roll. He is such a strong baby. He will hold his head up for minutes at at time. We were so excited that he was able to roll over at only three weeks old, but my mom reminded me that the faster he progresses, the sooner he will be into everything! It's crazy how fast he is growing! Instead of writing in depth about our weekend, here are pictures from the last few days.

17 days later...

I can't believe Landon is already 2 1/2 weeks old. It's amazing how fast time flies! We are absolutely loving parenthood, especially since he is such a good baby. The kid is awake maybe two hours total out of the entire day. He is getting so big and has just about outgrown all of his newborn clothes. Today was his first full day out and about. It's been really hard for me to get up and leave the house with my cracked tailbone sitch. He had a doctor's appointment this morning at 11:00- just a follow up with the urology specialist after his awful circumcision experience. All is well now. :) Since the doctor was in Kirkland we decided to drive down to Bellevue to show some of Jeremy's old co-workers the baby. After Bellevue we went shopping to Babies R Us and Target. Landon slept the entire five hours which was so nice. Jeremy is really excited for when he can start taking him to Mariner's games. I don't forsee that happening anytime soon though...

Our families are loving our newest addition. My sisters are ecstatic to FINALLY have a boy in the family. Jeremy's mom and sister come up this week for Easter and to see Landon so that will be a lot of fun. We will be sure to post pictures of the festivities. Here are some pictures from the last two weeks.

We got half of a smile!

First day trying out the "binky". He even knew how to hold it himself.

Opening day for the Mariners. Daddy insisted he wear this shirt.

Dimples just like dad.
