4 Months Old!

One month older and wiser too! Here are some things Baby Landon does now...

-Grabs and holds onto his toys

-Grabs at our hands and food when we eat

-LOVES to drink water. He grabs at our cups and pulls them to his mouth to drink ALL the time. It's pretty much impossible to eat or drink anything with him on our laps now.

-Laughs out loud

-Loves to "talk" to his daddy

-Loves to stand and sit up- he is getting pretty good at sitting by himself.

-LOVES pulling hair- especially if it's dark

-Still sleeps really well. Not like he used to, but we can thank his new teeth for that.

-Starting to scoot on his hands and knees. Pediatrician says he will be crawling in no time- great!

-Takes the best photos!

Shots and Stats

Today we took Landon to the pediatrician. He is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight coming in at 15 lbs 1oz and almost 26 inches long. His head circumference ranks in the 80th percentile, so it's not as small as I thought. :) After doing some research and talking with my parents regarding immunizations, Jeremy and I opted not to give Landon the Hep B shot as well as the ROTA virus shot. Our pediatrician totally agreed with our decision which was really nice. They have a shot where it's like a three for one deal. We were really happy that Landon only had to endure one instead of three. I was totally prepared to cry my eyes out, but he took it like a champ! He cried for about 20 seconds and then it was over. By the time we reached the lobby, he was all smiles and sucking on his hand. We are so grateful to have such a happy littly guy. No more shots for awhile!

Happy 4th!

For Landon's first 4th we took him to Lynnwood High School to watch the fireworks show. Jeremy and I along with friends and family have gone to the fireworks show at LHS for years. Unfortunately this was our last year because there will be no more Lynnwood High School next year. Jeremy and I were a little worried on how Landon would handle the fireworks since he is kind of a wimp when it comes to loud noises. He did surprisingly well until the end- then he kind of lost it. Poor little guy got a mosquito bite the size of a nickel on his cheek too! (See pic below). Next year I'm sure he will have a better time.

The aftermath...look at that thing- it's huge!
